The professionalisation of sport over the past 40 years has stimulated unprecedented growth in the international business of sport. Global and local sporting events are now big-business with multiple stakeholders invested in off-field commercial outcomes and financial returns. With more now financially at stake in the business of sport, unsurprisingly legal disputes in both curial and arbitral fora are becoming more frequent. This seminar examines different types of commercial sporting disputes and how international and domestic laws respond to these disputes to bring about their successful resolution or determination.

Join us at 39 Essex Chambers from 1:15pm for a light sandwich lunch for a 2pm session start.
