This panel session will focus on practical issues arising from the EU and UK sanctions imposed on the Russian Federation – and Russia’s countermeasures against companies from “unfriendly” States – with respect to the shaping of international enforcement strategies having specific regards to the legal framework implemented in France, Germany and the United Kingdom, including scenarios in which attempts are made to enforce arbitral awards in the EU or the UK that violate or ignore EU and UK sanctions.
