As the new US administration seeks a peace deal in Ukraine, questions arise about the future of Western sanctions. The US has indicated that it will offer some sanctions relief to Russia, but will the European Union and UK follow suit? What implications could this shift have for companies doing business across the West and if the U.S. refocuses its attention on China, what role will this play in global trade dynamics moving forward.
