Climbing the Walls: Navigating Obstacles in a Cross-Border Insolvency Strategy
5 Jun
11:00 - 12:30
Cross-border insolvency often presents a unique set of challenges, from evidentiary roadblocks to jurisdictional complexities. In this interactive session, we'll explore some of the key obstacles that clients and advisors may face when implementing a successful cross-border insolvency strategy.
Using a fictitious case study as a springboard, our panel of legal and forensic experts will draw on their deep, practical experience to guide attendees through common pitfalls and complications. The discussion will cover the difficulties in gathering and submitting evidence for disclosure, the impact of conflicting jurisdictional rules on the ability to obtain critical information, and issues surrounding collateral use and interference from bad actors.
Each panellist will examine a distinct challenge within their area of expertise, followed by discussion of how these issues play out within the broader strategic context.
The session will be accompanied by refreshments and followed by networking.
