The New Space sector is rapidly evolving, with emerging technologies reshaping the commercial use of outer space. We will explore the unique opportunities presented by these developments with a focus on disputes relating in important new sectors such as space tourism and asteroid mining.
We will also look at the legal framework that governs areas in which disputes are likely to emerge. These will include the procurement of launch capability, the control of space objects and the data they generate as well as the impact of an increasing use of autonomous vehicles in space.
