Foreseeing the unforeseeable: How to manage an AI dispute

AI disputes and AI in disputes - Will disputes arising from AI technologies be resolved in accordance with existing principles or will new methods of dispute resolution be required? Will new approaches be needed for the interpretation and management of evidence generated using (or generated by) AI? In this session, we will explore the approaches which courts and tribunals may take to resolve disputes arising from the use and misuse of AI, and the interpretation of evidence derived from AI.
We will also consider whether new forms of dispute resolution may develop and prove to be more suitable than traditional dispute resolution methods for resolving some types of technology disputes.
We will consider the perspectives of judges, arbitrators and legal advisors.
