Welcome from Mr Justice Waksman, Judge in Charge of the Technology and Construction Court and a Judge of the Commercial Court.

Uncertainty over outcome in different forms of dispute resolution and this can apply to cross-border settlements, especially if there are worries about enforcement, however such concerns can be answered as process design and mediator skills can overcome such issues.

Experts in this area including the Centre for Effective Disputes Resolution, 39 Essex Chambers, the Civil Mediation Council and the International Mediation Institute will guide the audience through the ways to maximise the chances for effective settlement and how to avoid issues around enforcement in different jurisdictions when possible.
