LIDW YAYAH’s 2025 Social
The LIDW YAYAH social event returns for a fourth year, this year we are heading back to Flat Iron Square in London Bridge. The evening will feature great food and drink options, an informal Q&A, networking opportunities and an unforgettable comedy show.
What to expect
- Head to the main stage for an informal Q&A session where we will be discussing topics such as focusing on building a career in the London disputes market.
- After the Q&A, be prepared for a laugh back at our main stage with a comedy show featuring comedians Hal Cruttenden and Esther Manito.
- Food will be available throughout the evening from a selection of Flat Iron’s Street food stalls.*
- A range of drinks will be available from the bars.
2025 Q&A Panel Guests
For this years event we welcome a diverse and exciting panel for our Q&A Session. Panellists include: Olesya Prantyuk Director at HKA, Nick Hourigan Senior Managing Director and Partner at FTI and Kitty St Aubyn Counsel at CMS.
Olesya Prantyuk is a director at HKA and a damages expert with a particular interest in industries that have the potential to bring a positive change to humanity, including space and blockchain. Olesya is a trilingual certified chartered accountant with more than 15 years of experience in finance and accounting (including over a decade of experience focused on disputes). She has been appointed as an expert in litigation and arbitrations and has assisted the named expert on more than 40 occasions in matters of valuation, forensic accounting and commercial damages.
Her experience covers a wide array of matters across:
- Industries (notably, aerospace and defence (including space), financial services, technology),
- Size (between $10 million and $5 billion), and
- Fora (LCIA, ICC, ICSID, SCC, PCA, ADCCAC, SIAC arbitrations, and UK High Court and Swiss courts litigations).
Olesya has been recognised in the Lexology Index as a Global Elite Thought Leader in Arbitration in the category ‘Under 45 – Expert Witnesses 2025’, in addition to being recommended in Who's Who Legal: Arbitration Future Leaders - Expert Witnesses 2024 and Expert Witnesses 2025.
Nick Hourigan is a Senior Managing Director and Partner in FTI Consulting’s Data & Analytics practice based in London and leads the D&A team in EMEA. He has 25 years’ experience working on some of the largest investigation and litigation matters in recent history. Disclosable projects include the c. 2016 - 2018 global investigation into integrity in professional tennis, supporting legal advisors to a Nordic bank with a broad FTI capability in resolving financial crime-related allegations, and giving expert evidence on algorithms, analytics and asset tracing in a multi-billion-dollar fraud trial before the Grand Court of the Cayman Islands.
Since 2017, Nick has been a leader in building an FTI team to deliver AI technical expertise and is the sponsor of FTI Consulting’s Augmented Investigations® offering – activating computers to elevate human expertise. Nick is a long-term senior champion of several focused diversity-related efforts, which include forensic Women’s Circles, FTI Toastmasters, and the Neurodiversity Network. He moved with his (then) young family from Boston to London in 2012 and mostly hasn’t looked back.
Kitty St Aubyn is Of Counsel in the CMS Corporate Crime group specialising in corporate crime spanning fraud, money laundering, financial sanctions, and related civil and regulatory proceedings and investigations. Kitty is a barrister of 14 years’ call, regularly advising clients on money-laundering matters and asset forfeitures and has worked extensively in professional discipline proceedings, inquests, and public inquiries. Between 2011-2022, Kitty practiced from leading chambers, representing individuals and companies before senior appellate courts, tribunals, and regulatory bodies. Her trial experience includes acting as counsel in high profile trials concerning the manipulation of interest rates and phone hacking at News International.
In addition to her legal practice, Kitty is a committee member of Women in Criminal Law, a director of the Expert Witness Institute and contributing author to the 2025 edition of Asset Recovery: Criminal Confiscation and Civil Recovery, published by Oxford University Press. Prior to practising law, Kitty worked as a Parliamentary speech writer, acted as a representative of advertising stakeholders to UK and EU government, and was employed by the UK Government on a bribery and corruption investigation in a British Overseas Territory.
