About LIDW25

LIDW25 will include a varied technical programme with a wide the usual variety of social and networking events to enable participants to share ideas, to make new contacts and connections and to renew old acquaintances.

The week will open with International Arbitration Day: a flagship event showcasing the importance of London as a global arbitration centre. High-profile keynotes will open the day, followed by 12 in-person panels on jurisdictions and regions spanning the world, hosted by a hub of member firms formed by Linklaters, Simmons & Simmons and Squire Patton Boggs all within a short walk of each other, allowing delegates plenty of time to move between panels.

LIDW25’s main conference will be held at the QEII Centre in Westminster again this year. Attracting delegates from dozens of countries the event attracts a roster of high-profile speakers including leading practitioners, members of the judiciary, representatives form leading arbitral centres and other key market players. . Sessions will reflect the conferences theme for this year - “Innovation in dispute resolution: navigating global risks” as well as examining key topics such as AI, the business of dispute resolution, and navigating supply chain disputes and risk – together with ample opportunity for networking throughout the day.

Events organised by LIDW Members will play a large part in the Week. In line with the LIDW ethos, our members are collaborating to put on events taking place across London, focusing on applying our theme of “Innovation in dispute resolution: navigating global risks” to a range of dispute types. We expect a broad mix of events and have had huge interest from members. Events will be added as we get closer to the Week itself and the range of topics covered should mean that there really is something for everyone.

LIDW is of course also about meeting new friends and contacts, and keeping up with old friends in the international disputes community. The LIDW25 technical programme will also be complemented by a number of organised social events, including an Opening Reception for 800 guests, a networking reception for up to 700 attendees following the main conference, a Gala Dinner and, for our young and young at heart delegates, a social evening and supper clubs.

We look forward to welcoming you to LIDW in June 2025.
